Andrew Takami has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Speech Communication from Indiana University Southeast and is completing his MA Degree in Philanthropic Studies and Nonprofit Management from Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in May. As Director of Purdue Polytechnic New Albany, Andrew oversees all operations of Purdue University in the Greater Louisville Region. He has received awards and recognition in his professional career including IU’s 30 Under 30 To Watch, Southern Indiana Business Source’s Twenty Under 40 Award, and Business First’s Forty Under 40 Award. Andrew also received the inaugural James W. Robinson Young Professional of the Year Award in 2014 by One Southern Indiana. Andrew currently serves on the Clark Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, the Christ Gospel Churches International Board of Directors, the Leadership Southern Indiana Executive Board of Directors, and the Governor’s Region 10 Works Council. Andrew joined the St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities Advisory Council in 2013. A father of three, Andrew and his wife, Ann, and their family live in Jeffersonville.
