Melissa Fry has earned the degrees of B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Sociology. Since 2011 she has been the Director of the Applied Research and Education Center and Assistant Professor of Sociology at Indiana University Southeast. Melissa joined the Council in 2015 after working with St. Elizabeth’s staff on the plan to end homelessness and through networks in the community. Impressed with the quality of the staff and programs, she welcomed the opportunity to get involved with the organization through Council service. Melissa and her husband, Mark Konty, are the proud parents of two teenage sons.
