Hi, my name is Erica Coulter and I just recently graduated with my MSW from the Kent School of Social Work at UofL. I was able to complete my foundational practicum at St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities in 2020 and I’ve basically been here ever since! I accepted the Residential Support Services Advocate position earlier this year where I get to do case management with the women and children in our emergency homeless shelter. I’ll be splitting my time between that role and my new school counseling role at SJPII! I am super excited to meet all the students and begin working with them on all things concerning mental health. Mental health can have such a huge impact on academic performance so I’m thankful to get the opportunity to counsel and help students grow in those skills throughout the school year.
I was born and raised in Elizabeth, IN and now currently reside in New Albany, IN. I have a fiancé, Blake, whom I met at our church, Lifepoint Louisville. Getting to serve alongside him and my church family is one of my greatest joys. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I would love to connect and help however I can. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Looking forward to a great school year!
Erica Coulter, MSSW
