The Hon. Maria Granger has been Presiding Judge of Floyd Superior Court 3 in New Albany, Indiana since 2009. She hears cases involving adult crimes, divorce, child support, protection orders, juvenile matters and other civil cases. She is a graduate of Indiana University and received her J.D. from the McKinney School of Law. She practiced law in southern Indiana prior to her election to the bench including work for the Floyd County Office of Families and Children and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Floyd and Clark Counties. She joined the St. Elizabeth Advisory Council in 2012.
